The quotes I saw on Arseblog this morning certainly made me chuckle.....

Very good article on Arseblog there. Exactly how I feel about it too.

Do you know what, the best thing to happen to Palmer and ANR is the rapid increase in blogging and its popularity, because his dictation of opinion is now as washed up in the melle as any another drivel out there.

One thing that really annoys me about ANR is that - unlike every other blog/comment site out there - Myles doesn't publish readers' comments. It's just him shouting at the world.

The thing that really got me about Palmer's blog today were his linking Wenger to the condolence of cheating, when Wenger is so anti cheating its unreal. I even e-mailed Palmer I was so upset about it, mentioning that it was wenger who replayed the sheff utd incident when we "legally" but "immorally" scored the winner - no other manager ever would do this. I also mentioned how he often states we are boys against men, praising the likes of Gerrard, Rooney et al for their win at all costs mentality, but when Arsenal win with a dubious decision it's a travesty. I just really disagreed with him linking this incident to Arsenal, totally unneccessary. What a moron!

I thought Myles Palmer wasn't an Arsenal fan? If so, why does he feel the need to write about us?

At the end of the day I stopped reading his rubbish a long time ago. I got to the point where I realised that reading his "work" just made me angry so now I simply swerve it. The bloke is a numpty.

Myles is (or was) a good tactical analyst but he really seems to be losing the plot now, simple as.

I challenged him on Arsenal vs City for 4th, he kept telling us Arsenal would be grasping at thin air in their attempt to survive to keep a top four finish, forth at best he proclaimed. He didn't refer to that statement when I emailed asking him on his previous position.

I'm getting quite bored by his speculative approach. He's becoming very headline focused.

He relies on ratings and readings, he gets them because he's shit yet people still read it.

Dzeko was at Emirates last night. After Wenger missed training
By Myles Palmer
http://www.arsenalnewsreview.co.uk/inde ... eturnid=42

Wenger never misses training. But it's been reported that he missed training yesterday. And Michael just told me that his mate Ajay called last night to tell him that Edin Dzeko was at the ground last night. Ajay's mate called him to say Dzeko was there. Let's hope Ajay's mate knows what he's talking about. If not, there will be repercussions...

Wolfsburg striker, six foot three, scored in away games against Manchester United, CSKA Moscow and Besiktas, has 14 goals in 23 internationals for Bosnia. Won't be eligible for Champions League. But Dzeko would quickly fit into the Croatian short-passing style, while also allowing them to open a game up and use Arshavin's pace. At the moment Arsenal don't use Arshavin's pace. They only use his skill, vision and sharpness. Ajay is a Gooner who reads this site. Tell us more, Ajay !!! Did your mate SEE Dzeko?

No way that happens with a 40m Euro price tag. As much as I'd love it, we won't splash that kind of cash.

Someone also posted on the BBC live match text last night that he was at the game, this may be where he's got it from....

Surely Sky would have been on to this by now if it was true? Though I hope it is...

Quite the scoop there Myles, your son's mate's mate.

I would be very suprised if this was true. For starters I can't see us invest that amount of cash on a striker right now, secondly I can't see him getting all the way to our ground without someone in the press spotting him, and lastly I can't see Arsene missing training for it, particulary not now.
