Same gripe, different escape hatch unfortunately. Proper feeling like someone has kicked the shite out of my digestive system and I have a headache to boot :(

Unfortunately I'm not immune to male sufferers of it. Mr K has it. We both had the same symptoms, however I still had to get up at sparrow's fart with Miss Flip and carry on regardless while he had to lie in bed cos he felt lousy!

I've got a gripe with HM Revenue and Customs. Just got my family tax credit award for the next yr. £330. Yea, that's gonna help me with childcare etc.
Not really sure why I even bothered applying. I'm not a scrote and I don't claim anything from the govt, just pay all my tax like a good little girl and always have. Work my backside off and get no tax relief on anything (oh, except tights for work apparently which I don't even wear anymore and so therefore can't claim for now! And in anycase the cost of the stamp outweighed the amount of tax back I got on em!)

God I hate this country! No incentive to do anything except scrounge off the social and watch Jeremy Kyle all day!

Well said kasha. Like you I get so little for the hoops I have to jump through to get tax credits that I really do wonder if there's any point. Every day my job bring me into homes where no-one works, there are mal-nourished kids at every turn and a huge 60 inch plasma in the frigging corner. People get disability benefits simply for being morbidly obese and I return home wondering where this country is going. My wife stays at home now with the kids because we want them brought up properly and we get no support from a spineless system for trying to turn our kids into good citizens.

I was helping the girlfriend's dad build a large patio for his business on Thursday and had my shirt off in the sun. Cue a bright red back and a pale front. The contrast between my back and my pale arse is a funny sight too.
