The best and only advice I can offer Al - Sleep with the boss, and their boss if needs be. Always guarenteed to climb the ladder that way

Being off work sick for two weeks, finding out that I'm only entitled to statutory sick pay, and having to cram as many hours in as possible within the space of 10 days to make sure my December pay packet will be slightly less traumatic.

Many 12hrs shifts on the horizon. Shoot me now.

I just got shot down in a court claim and for a dodgy second hand car I bought and was awarded less than I paid for it... Gutted and livid are not the words...

My cat died last night. Apparantly a neighbour watched her choke and didn't do anything until it was too late. I think she was poisoned personally but I can't prove it and the vets don't do autopsies on dead cats. So that's that really, nothing I can do about now. Bit gutted for my other cat though, he's just moping around the house today. Do cats get depressed?

?

Poisoned by your neighbour Matt? degenerates love fucking things up for others. I don't know if cats get depressed, I only had one when I was young who seemed happy but she would have been getting fed all sorts.

get a pack of fish fingers, oven them, take out the fish and give it to your cat, or give some sardines.

Sorry to hear that Matt. :(

Yes, cats can and do get sad. Despite common misconceptions, cats form emotional attachments with other cats that they are close to and to people that they bond with.

Chin up.

Not only cats, my dog got very depressed when my our died. Took her a few weeks to get back to normal even though they tended to avoid each other.

Really sorry to hear that as well Matt.

Cheers guys. Charlie, my other cat, has only left the house twice since Ronnie died. Normally he's out and about all over the place but he doesn't seem at all motivated to defend his territory that he's worked so hard to claim (he's a bit of a bruiser). All he's doing at the moment is sleeping on the chair and doesn't seem to want to eat.

Maybe a bowl full of Jack Daniels might sort him out
