Just introducing myself to you all.
Have finally taken the plunge to involve myself in the forums to spare my wife - a Man U fan - my rantings only to get the reply "I know, I know". Think I'll get more sympathy from you lot!
Have been a fan for close to 35 years, so have seen the good, the bad and the very ugly, Oxford away springs to mind. former season-ticket holder for 11 years, met my first wife on an away CL trip to Kiev - the most expensive match ticket I ever bought.
Authority to offer opinions - seen 'em join, seen 'em leave, seen the success and the years of mediocrity, home and away. Seen us much worse than we are currently!
Drawbacks - more an armchair fan now, will elaborate if asked, never been to the Emirates, still saving! so miss the bigger picture you only get from being there.
But realised more than ever that i'm still, and always will be a fan, so can vent my spleen on here to save bursting a blood vessel on matchdays. Feel club needs a good shake, but keen to debate how and where.
Think we'll actually do ok tomorrow, but God knows why!
