Some cracking results this weekend, Spurs lost to Leeds, Liverpool lost to Oldham, Brentford very nearly beat Chelsea.

We've got Blackburn at home in the 5th round, a very handy tie considering its the weekend before our Champions League tie.

The other ties:

Middlesbrough v Brentford/Chelsea
Man Utd v Reading
Man City v Leeds
Arsenal v Blackburn
Luton v Millwall
Oldham v Everton
MK Dons v Barnsley
Huddersfield/Leicester v Wigan

Not very exciting, although Boro away will be difficult for Chelsea. Oldham will give Everton a good game too.

Immense day of football, and Chelsea can consider themselves fortunate to have a replay. Brentford were all over them for large tracts of the game, and there is no way Turnbull should have finished on the pitch. How he wasn't booked for diving on Terry's backpass is anyone's guess.

Would have been nice for some of the big clubs to face each other but cant complain with a home time against a lower league team. Hope we can avoid the 'big guns' till at least the semis.

As funny as it is that Spurs are out, it does give them a clear run at 4th

Yep, the giant killers deserve their glory, and in a way its good they all have a chance next round to get to the quarters, but realistically, its two of the traditional Top 4 in the final unless the next draw is more exciting, or unless their is a big upset.

Chelsea always seem to get easy ties until the semi. Every season. Their run to the final last season against Liverpool's for comparison, was so fortunate.

Chelsea v United replay currently underway, been a shocking start from both teams.

Cole has gone off injured for Chelsea.

Chelsea through after a stunning goal from Demba Ba and an equally stunning save by Cech to deny Hernandez. More fixtures to add to their congestion, hopefully they take the eye of the ball in the race for Champions League football.

If I were Benitez (god forbid) and an interim coach at Chelsea (god forbid), I know what would leave an impression and what would look good on my CV. And it's not "3rd or 4th place in the league".

It wouldn't surprise me if he focussed on winning the Europa League and the FA Cup instead of finishing as high as possible in the league.

Thoughts on the FA Cup final?

Can anyone see Wigan getting anything?

Wigan have done alright thus far, can still see Man City winning but it is not as one sided as I expected.

Best chance so far falls to Tevez, great save from the lad in the Wigan goal with his foot.

That is one of my favourite football moments in recent years.

Underdogs given no chance, about to go down, probably losing their manager in the process beating a (now) fake football club, with a whiny bitch manager. Not by some fluke either, genuinely outplaying them with confidence and a modicum of style.

There is a footballing god.

And a laughing smiley to City:

Wait, I thought it was impossible to compete with the likes of City? What's happened here, then? A trophy? For an unfashionable team? Such scandal...

Seriously, though, bloody well done Wigan! Martinez has pretty much justified his upcoming job offer.

Lets not talk about the fact this could have been us... Blackburn>Millwall>Wigan>City...

Come on dannyg, you know as well as anyone that football is played on the day. Play that same game, same conditions, same players another day, and Wigan might get pasted. This was their day, and fair play to them.
