Might as well kick this one off with the news that Grant Holt has handed in a transfer request, rejected by Norwich. Perhaps there are other forces at work, but if that is because Holt thinks he'll be playing at a much higher level next season, genuinely that is a shit-brained view of himself.

Elsewhere, Bolton have offloaded a plethora of players already, which include Gretar Steinsson, Nigel Reo-Coker (release clause) and Ivan Klasnic.

Drenthe has left Everton and will soon be on a free contract.

I'd imagine Klasnic won't find it hard to come by offers in Germany and perhaps one or two bottom-end Prem clubs, and Drenthe will definitely be attracting attention. I think Reo-Coker could have done with staying at Bolton though.

Drenthe wants to head back to Feyenoord and there's a realistic chance of it happening. He shouldn't have left there in the first place.

And I can't believe the Holt thing, he is an idol in Norfolk despite being shit. This will not go down well at all with the fans.

Milan have released Gattuso, Seedorf, Inzaghi and Nesta. Gattuso wants to go back to Rangers (which makes sense from a family perspective) but it will be interesting to see where Seedorf ends up? He hasn't played over here so England could be a destination.

Tubz, do you think Seedorf or Gattuso could have a chance at Arsenal? I did mention Gattuso previously, from a family perspective it is 4 hours by train and the situation at Rangers still hangs in the balance, could be a nice signing if wages were kept low.

Gattuso? Past his prime, I don't think he would really add anything major to this squad.

Seedorf is an interesting one. I think he could offer something to the squad for a year or so but the problem is I don't think he will stay fit long enough to get maximum benefit back for the wages he will command. I would expect him though to end up somewhere like Tottenham or more likely Man City as an experienced replacement on ridiculous money.

There are noises about Bojan Krkic looking for a club - possibility for us perhaps?

I'd love to see Seedorf here in a coaching / playing role, similar to Sol Campbell when he came. Can't see it happening though.

Why is Bojan looking for a club? Only been at Roma for a year and for a fairly hefty fee, played most games as well I believe?

Villarael have a few interesting players who are likely to leave now they've been relegated. Rossi? Nilmar? Ruben? Valero, Cani, Zapata, Marchena, Senna, de Guzman and of course Senna as well, all decent on their day. They must have majorly fucked up to get relegated in that league.

a lot of it was around the departure of Luis Enrique as coach.

Re; Rossi, he is out longterm with a cruciate ligament injury, the second time he's had it within a year. Unlikely to be back before Christmas, and then you might as well write off the remainder of the season as an adjustment period.

3 out of those 4 will end up in West Ham.

Right, so where are the following going this summer;

Gareth Bale > Real Madrid

Luka Modric > Chelsea

Rafael Van Der Vaart > PSG

Emmanuel Adebayor > PSG

Harry Redknapp > Channel 5

Ledley King > Channel 5

Michael Dawson > Channel 5

I think both Bale and Van Der Vaart will stay with Tottenham, though Modric surely has to finally get his move to Chelsea. I'm not sure about Adebayor. If he doesn't stay at Spurs, his bridges are burned in England, unless by some chance the new Chelsea heirarchy fancied him as a Drogba replacement. I don't see him in Spain somehow, and I doubt Germany is lucrative enough a scene, outside of Bayern and Dortmund, whom are both no's. PSG for Champions League and £$£$? Yeah, I'm on that bandwagon.

Here's one - if it was looking certain that Van Persie wanted to leave Arsenal, but the Dutchman wanted to remain in London....who would look at a swap for Fernando Torres as being a good deal?

I'm tempted to call that as my 'shock' summer transfer.

Duncan Castles (journo with good Chelsea sources) claims Torres has been told he is no1 striker next season. Cant see him moving.

Modric looks certain to go, think Bale and VdVaart will stay. Would be surprised if he went to Chelsea though, I think Man Utd would make a move for him, Marin is already going to Chelsea and I think they will pursue Erikson again, especially if he has a good Euro.

Adebayor has really burnt his bridges. Cant see anyone in Spain meeting his wages except perhaps Malaga, so it will be AC Milan possibly, if Ibrahimovic moves to Eastlands, else PSG. PSG want a big name striker, hence the links to Suarez, so that would make sense.

I dont really get the critiscism of Holt. Yes, he is pretty average, but he has just had a good season, he is 31 and has been quite a journeyman footballer. Why not request a transfer and see if you can get one final decent payday? Norwich owe him as much as the other way around.

Sunderland really linked with him as well, and O Neill does like a target man (hence the Jan offer for Kevin Davies) so if he gets a move or not, dont see it as that big a deal.
