Decisions, Decisions, Decisions...... :lol: :lol:

Do we stick to playing three at the back? Do we start Sanchez up front? Do we bring Walcott back in the fold based on his goal scoring record against City? Who do we play in midfield, Do we keep Ramsey in the midfield or do we bring in Elneny to bring some physicality. I personally would stick to the three at the back and go something like this:

============Cech===========

===Gabriel====Koscielny====Holding====

===Ox===Elneny====Xhaka=====Gibbs

========Ramsey====Ozil=======

============Sanchez===========

I wouldn't. Not for this game.

We need to bring some pace back into the back line as we will be against Sane, Aguero, Sterling/De Bruyne, Silva.

Bellerin needs to come back in with Ox in front of him so they can double up on Sane and it will give Bellerin a chance to make up for his last performance against them.

Monreal / Sanchez to combat Sterling/De Bruyne.

Giroud in to help defend against Kompany at set pieces.

I just hope Ozil turns up for this game. We need a MOTM performance from him.

Looks like similar set up. Going to have to be good to stop Aguero, Sane and De Brunye. Not expecting to win, but really really hoping to be proved wrong. Could depend on how fit Kompany really is and whether we can get at Navas. Hopefully Xhaka won't be a complete liability and Ramsey will imagine he's playing for Wales.

Silva off which could work in our favour.

Just got off a flight and off to a pub to catch some of this game!

Don't know how we are playing but if it's looking like 0-0 at half time that's a good thing!

Come on Arsenal!

BT Sport. I'm listening to it on talkSPORT.

0-0 half time. Doesn't sound the most absorbing match but at least we're still right in it.

0-0 and we have been relatively comfortable defensively. We are really struggling to get out of the defensive shape though, and bar one or two flashes from Oxlade-Chamberlain we haven't offered much. We have been completely unable to play out of defence and the base of midfield so far.

Could have been a penalty at each end, moreso for Arsenal, and City have been denied a goal - which has some Irish clown on BT Sport foaming at the mouth, even though the cross from Sane was no more than about 5mm in play as it sailed over Cech's goal - clearly linesmen should be equipped with Terminator-style x-ray vision :roll:

Ramsey will get hammered for the goal, but he's on the edge of the City box trying to make something happen and can't be responsible for what's happening sixty yards behind him and how Aguero somehow ended up five yards ahead of our one (!) defender.

City unlucky not to win, hitting the post and bar in the final stages, but we have bested the second half and played much better. We should have won it through Welbeck, missing by an inch when he could/should have rolled it across to Sanchez for an open goal. I'd now be tempted to bring on Bellerin for Ozil and move Oxlade-Chamberlain up one.

A great result, again the performance wAs not perfect and first half we were under a lot of pressure but second half we upped the performance and that gave us the confidence to go on.

I felt Cech should have done better for their goal, Agueros second touch was heavy and the felt Cech had enough time to clean that out. Instead he dallied and gave Aguero the time he needed. He is looking more and more like an old man in goal and we need to be looking in the summer for an alternative, particularly as Ospina is leaving. A proper number one.
