My cat died last night. Apparantly a neighbour watched her choke and didn't do anything until it was too late. I think she was poisoned personally but I can't prove it and the vets don't do autopsies on dead cats.

Thats horrible when that happens and particularly annoying when you know full well who may have done it as well. My Mum and Dad have lost 2-3 cats as a result of what we consider to be poisoning and even though we couldn't prove who did it, we knew who was putting the poison down. As a result we try and prevent the cats from eating the stuff they bring home, although of course you can not watch them all the time. Unfortunately their cats now seem to get run over all the time, even though they live in a sleepy backwater of Norfolk.

Sorry to hear about that Matt, you noticed any neighbours putting bowls of milk out who don't actually have any cats? Unfortunately's it's incredibly easy to poison a cat.

My gripe this morning is waiting for, and tracking, a package.

20/03/2012 08:02:00 NANT GARW VAN The parcel has been loaded on to the drivers van

Still no sign of it and Nant Garw is only 7 miles away! Why couldn't I be first in line?! :headbang:

 Typical.

It's through Amazon's new 'Prime' delivery option. I didn't pay for it, but I think it's for those who use it a lot. Basically a monthly payment I think, for next day delivery. The last time I bought stuff on Amazon was Christmas '10 and purchased it before the deadline for guaranteed Christmas delivery. Do you think it arrived? Did it f***!

Hopefully though this will be different if it's been loaded onto the van this morning at a depot so close.

Won't get my hopes up though fella! :headbang:

That amazon options doesn't mean much. Ultimately your parcel is in the hands of HDNL who don't give a shit as you know. Most parcels coming my way in a van via HDNL have ended up back at the depot. Hope you have better luck with them this time around.

Not many people have a good word to say about HDNL after a quick sift through the web. Amazed that a company like Amazon are still using them.
