Amex Stadium - Sunday 4th March 2018 @ 13:30

Arsene is long overdue a contract saving performance and I have that feeling that it’s going to happen today!

Brighton have been pretty good this season. They have a good home record (unlike our away record), and they have actually conceded less goals than us! They aren’t pushovers... but c’mon they are Brighton! Arsenal... no excuses about Brighton being bankrolled by all the south coast fish n chip shops please!

I fancy us winning this. Mertesacker in a back 3, Wilshere back in the midfield, and finally Aubamayang gets to use his pace and put away some of the chances. 0-3 to Arsenal.

Cech, Chambers, Koscielny, Mustafi, Kolasinac, Ozil, Wilshere, Xhaka, Iwobi, Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang

Iwobi, Chambers and Xhaka all on the pitch at the same time; this can't end well

I don't expect anything other than a defeat, although I really really want to be wrong. I just can't feel any optimism at the moment. We haven't had a red card for a while, so I'll say 2-1 to Brighton with us down to 10 men.

So where is Ramsey? :puzzled:

1-1. Brighton won't give us any space and will probably do us on the counter at some stage. Izquierdo and Mkhitaryan.

Don't know. He trained but hasn't made the bench. Other forums quick to judge and say that makes him the person who leaked details of the team meeting. Bellerin only on the bench along with Holding, Elneny, Maitland-Niles, Welbeck, Nketiah and Ospina.

Iwobi in for Welbeck, so shit replaces shit. Xhaka again, if we're to get a ref card He's the prime candidate, he offers nothing else. Defence looks as weak as ever with Chambers at right back. Third league defeat on the bounce very much on the cards. I'd like to think that would hasten Wenger s departure but who would trust anyone at the club to actually make a good appointment to replace him.

Brighton 1-0 up after 7 minutes. Really seems as if the players are playing against the manager now. Even Wenger cannot survive that.

Didn't take long. Plenty of time to do something about it but as I said, it's so hard to believe in the team and management right now.

2-0. Really sad. If this is the end of Wenger, and it should be, what a sad end to what should have been a shorter and thus more wonderful story.

2-0, Murray is ridiculing our shit defense.

Not even close to making anything happen, sideways passing like we have been doing the last 10 years :headbang:

It's pathetic and not deserving of fans time or money. We are Arsenal and we are getting battered by Brighton. It's embarrassing.

There's no way he should be in charge come Thursday but you just know he will be. Utterly pathetic. The hierarchy are making arses of themselves by their inaction.

Whatever about Wenger, he can't legislate for the shitfest those players are producing in terms of individual mistakes.

Helmet throws one in after a bright start. Koscielny can't complete a simple five yard pass, Mustafi can't be fucked to mark closer, and Helmet throws another one in. Ludicrous.

And yet we somehow nearly went in level.

Not even anything else to add; top to bottom, from owners, managers and players, we've said it all a hundred times before. There's no confidence, no backbone, and precious little talent in evidence. And a manager who can only sit forlornly and watch, because he's got nothing left to say.

2-1 and then nearly 2-2! Aubameyang. Next 45 will be interesting. Wilshere needs to watch himself.

I’m not gonna comment on the 1st half.

We can win this - I hope the goal gives our mentally weak players some confidence and score a few more

My god Brighton are trying to protect a 1 goal lead even when they get into good counter attacking positions. If they have a go they could batter us.

We have a good chance of getting something out of this. Come on Arsenal
